Submission Guidelines

Submissions are currently closed.

  • Writers are encouraged to include a short bio of under 100 words.

  • We accept multiple submissions, but please notify us if your work is placed elsewhere.

  • Please format written submissions with double spacing and Times New Roman font.

  • Submit all written submissions via our Duotrope. Any written submissions directed towards our email will not be considered.

  • We will accept art submissions via Duotrope or our email.

  • We only accept work from current undergraduate students.

FICTION
We accept short stories of up to 4,000 words. We are looking for stories that move us, intrigue us, and show us lines we wish we’d written ourselves. Are you experimental? Literary? However you define yourself, we’d love to see it.
We aren’t looking for genre writing (horror, erotica, fanfiction) but we aren’t opposed to original speculative fiction, either.

ART
If it’s 2D, we want to see it. Artists can submit up to three separate images per submission period. Please make sure to include appropriate credits (title, medium, dimensions, year) when submitting. It would be wise to ensure submissions are at least 300 dpi and in an accessible .jpg format.

FLASH FICTION
Flash fiction, to us, is anything under 400 words. Writers can submit up to three flash fiction pieces at a time.

POETRY
We accept up to three poems per submission. Please keep individual poems under two pages each.

CREATIVE NONFICTION
We accept creative nonfiction up to 4,000 words. Creative nonfiction can include any writing that prods at the world with a fresh, authentic perspective. This includes, but is not limited to: memoir, essay, or review of any recently released media.
